Magdeleine Bouhou is a wine estate just east of Blaye, in the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. The château’s keys were handed over in January 2021, and a technical director joined the team that year. Ludwig serves as master winemaker, oenologist and estate manager, while Frédéric is vineyard manager and cellar master.

The vineyard is planted on clay-limestone soil, with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Cabernet Franc historically grown here. Roussanne, Semillon and Chardonnay were planted in 2021. All wines undergo parcel-by-parcel vinification in small concrete vats adapted for punching down. Its wines include Tradition, a Bordeaux right-bank blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, and L’Abri, whose main grapes are Merlot and Malbec. The range also includes the sulphur-free Sans Soufre Malbec.
On VinoVoss, Magdeleine Bouhou has 1 wine in stock: 1 red. Their average rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 18 ratings.
