Lucy

Lucy is made by the Pisoni family. Gary Pisoni was among the earliest growers to plant Pinot Noir in the Santa Lucia Highlands, while Jeff Pisoni serves as vintner and Mark Pisoni manages the vineyards.

Its wines include Lucy Rosé, Lucy Pico Blanco, and Lucy Gamay Noir. Lucy Rosé is made using both whole cluster pressing and saignée methods and is cellared in neutral barrels for three months before bottling. Lucy Pico Blanco is a blend of Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc, fermented in neutral barrels using exclusively native yeast and bottled without fining. Lucy Gamay Noir is fermented with 60% whole clusters in open-top tanks to foster a semi-carbonic environment, with a portion fermented in a vintage California redwood tank. This wine undergoes 100% native yeast fermentation with punch downs and pump overs, ages in neutral French oak barrels for 8 months, and is bottled unfined and unfiltered.
