Lingua Franca is a wine producer inspired by a vineyard site in the Eola-Amity Hills of the Willamette Valley. In 2010, Master Sommelier Larry Stone began negotiations to acquire the 150-acre Janzen Farm, completing the purchase on December 31, 2012. Dominique Lafon and his winemaking protégé Thomas Savre joined Stone to craft the wines.

The east-facing Janzen Farm site has a 300-foot elevation gain, with Nekia, Gelderman, and Jory soils. Under the guidance of regenerative viticulturist Mimi Casteel, the estate vineyard was planted with different combinations of rootstock and budwood, following low-impact, organic, and biodynamic farming principles.
On VinoVoss, Lingua Franca has 9 wines in stock: 5 red, 4 white. Their average rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 158 ratings. Lingua Franca is in the top 10% of the 42 rated Oregon wineries on VinoVoss.
