Hartley Ostini Hitching Post

Hartley Ostini Hitching Post began when Gray Hartley, a former Alaskan salmon fisherman, and Frank Ostini, chef and owner of the Hitching Post 2 Restaurant in Buellton, started making wines in 1979. They released their first official Hitching Post wine, a Pinot Noir, in 1985. Frank Ostini has served as Chef Winemaker since the winery's inception, and Weston Hartley has joined the winemaking team.

Grapes are sourced from local vineyards including Sanford & Benedict, Fiddlestix, and Bien Nacido. Its wines include Hitching Post Highliner, sourced from Pinot Noir lots of the vintage.
