In 2009, Josh Nadel launched Gothic.

Gothic produces Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Rosé wines from Oregon's Willamette Valley. Winemaking is modeled on classic, Old-World styles of non-interventionist winemaking. Its wines include Nevermore Pinot Noir. The vineyards include Hyland Vineyard in the McMinnville AVA, which is a 100-acre site originally planted in 1971, just five years after Pinot Noir was first planted in the Willamette Valley. They also include Willakia Vineyard, which is located towards the northern end of the Eola-Amity Hills AVA at an elevation of 400 to 750 feet. In addition, Monk's Gate Vineyard is a small, privately owned vineyard located in the Yamhill-Carlton District AVA of Oregon's northern Willamette Valley, where it was planted in 2000. Monk's Gate Vineyard is not irrigated, and it is farmed sustainably.
