Galardi

Galardi is a wine producer founded in 1991 by Roberto Selvaggi in the province of Caserta, on the Roccamonfina volcano. His love of Bordeaux wines inspired him to make a red wine on land inherited from his wife's family.

The property included several hectares of chestnut and olive groves, with non-native grape varieties planted on a small half-hectare plot. Its wines include Terra di Lavoro, a blend of Aglianico and Piedirosso selected by oenologist Riccardo Cotarella, with its first harvest in 1994.
