Felline is a wine producer in Manduria whose story began with Gregorio Perrucci, a skilled grafter. Costantino Perrucci’s eldest son Gregory joined the family business in 1989. Felline entered the market in 1996 with modern Primitivo di Manduria wines. In 1997, Gregory launched Accademia dei Racemi to identify, experiment with and market Puglia’s native varieties.

Zinfandel cuttings from Ridge’s Geyserville vineyard were grafted onto vines in Manduria’s Sinfarosa area. Its Susumaniello comes exclusively from vines it rediscovered in 1996 and subsequently spread to other producers. It also planted its first new Susumaniello vineyard near Torre Guaceto. Its wines include Primitivo di Manduria, made without substantial residual sugar, and a Riserva that is never less than ten years old.
