Excelsior

Excelsior is owned by Peter De Wet. The De Wet family have farmed at Excelsior Estate since 1859, and wines are produced and bottled by the De Wet family over five generations.

Excelsior Estate is situated in the Robertson wine valley, where the farm has 220 hectares planted with grape varieties. In the estate's vineyards, grapes are harvested by hand. In its farming practices, Excelsior introduced drip irrigation to the South African wine industry, and in addition to this, the estate is 50% solar powered.
