At Domaine la Bouissiere, Antonin Faravel planted his first vines at the Grande Bouïssière lieu-dit below the Dentelles de Montmirail. In 1978, Antonin began producing his own wine, bottling the 1979 vintage which went on sale in 1981. Gilles Faravel was the first sibling to join their father at the estate, doing so in 1985, and focuses primarily on vineyard work.

The estate's appellations are Gigondas, Vacqueyras, and Beaumes-de-Venise. It grows Grenache at Grande Bouïssière and Mourvèdre on the Plateau des Garrigues, and leases vineyards in Lafare, which produce its Beaumes-de-Venise cru. Since installing temperature-control equipment in 2010, pre-fermentation cold macerations are conducted for 4 to 5 days at 13°C. Aging vessels include foudres for Gigondas, barrels for Beaumes-de-Venise, and barrels and demi-muids for Vacqueyras.
On VinoVoss, Domaine la Bouissiere has 1 wine in stock: 1 red. Their average rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 55 ratings.
