Costa Arente

Costa Arente is a wine estate overlooking the Valpantena in Romagnano, a hamlet of Grezzana. Wine has been produced in the area for centuries.

At 250 metres above sea level, the estate occupies a single 35-hectare holding, with 17 hectares of vineyards and the remainder woodland and olive groves. The vineyards grow Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, with vines trained using Pergola Veronese and Guyot systems. Grapes are harvested and selected by hand, while a drying room in the estate’s most ventilated part provides conditions for appassimento. During maturation, a digital system in the barrel cellar monitors humidity and barrel temperature. Its wines include Amarone della Valpolicella, Valpantena DOCG.
