The Conte Emo Capodilista estate has belonged to the same family since the Middle Ages. The Capodilista family arrived in Veneto in 800 with Charlemagne and received feudal estates and the title of Count after fighting Desiderius, the last Lombard king. At the fall of the Venetian Republic, Leonardo Emo married Beatrice Capodilista, merging the family surnames, and in 1819, the family was created counts of the Austrian Empire.

Located on the borders of the Euganean Hills Regional Park, a few kilometers from Padua, the estate is part of the Euganean Hills (Colli Euganei DOC) appellation. Its vineyards are on the La Montecchia hill and Monte Castello in Baone. Winemaking includes white winemaking at controlled temperature.
