Clos Cantenac is a wine producer in Bordeaux, France, and its wines include Saint-Émilion reds and rosés. Its gently sloping, south-facing vineyards are managed parcel by parcel according to their age, condition and seasonal requirements. Cover crops have been reintroduced within the rows, and the estate uses only sustainable products and techniques to protect the environment.

To manage yields and improve fruit quality, vineyard work includes canopy management, de-budding, crop thinning and de-leafing. At harvest, an individual block may require two or three passes over several days to gather only ripe grapes. Whole bunches arrive in small baskets for sorting before destemming, followed by a second berry sorting before the fruit enters steel tanks and barrels. The estate completed a new winery in 2015, including a barrel hall and laboratory.
