Cheurlin

Cheurlin (Champagne Richard Cheurlin) is a grower-producer based in Celles-sur-Ource.

Its vineyards lie on the slopes of the Côte des Bar, from the Barséquannais to the Barsuraubois. They include a Pinot Noir parcel where yields are further restricted. Vine treatments are applied when necessary, guided by weather station data and vineyard observations. Grapes are harvested by hand to select bunches that will reach the press intact. In the cellar, temperature-controlled stainless steel vats help control fermentation, which is followed by malolactic fermentation. Riddling takes place on traditional racks or in gyropalettes.
