Château Vieux Chaigneau is a wine estate in the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation owned by Milhade, which also trades in wines from the region.

Its six-hectare vineyard forms a single block near Néac, on an extension of the Pomerol plateau. The deep soils contain a balanced mix of clay, sand and silt, with clay slightly predominant. The grape mix is 75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. Following Bordeaux traditions, vines are Guyot-pruned and yields limited to favour quality, while manual vineyard work is preferred and soil life is preserved. The estate has belonged to the Terra Vitis network since 2018 and received Haute Valeur Environnementale Level 3 certification in 2020. Traditional vinification in temperature-controlled concrete vats is followed by 18 months of wine ageing, including 12 months in oak barrels.
