Château Marjosse is an estate 14 km south of Saint-Émilion, first built in 1782. Owner Pierre Lurton built a cellar more than 180 meters long with over 40 cement vats in 2000. He began restoring the Chartreuse in 2014 and hired Jean-Marc Domme as winemaker and technical director in 2017.

The estate’s 40 acres of vineyards sit on clay and limestone soils, growing Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadelle and Malbec. Jean-Marc’s team tends the vines year-round, from plowing and Guyot pruning to harvesting. After harvest, grapes are sorted and gently pressed in pneumatic presses. In 2017, parcels were vinified separately for the first time.
