Château Les Trois Croix is a wine estate in Fronsac with a keystone bearing the date 1712. The Patrick Léon family took over the property in 1995. Patrick Léon returned at the end of 2003, when his children Stéphanie and Bertrand were in charge of the estate.

The 15.2-hectare vineyard spans Fronsac, Saillans and Saint-Aignan and sits at 80 metres on one of Fronsac’s highest points. The vines average 40 years old, with plantings of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Vineyard work includes manual leaf removal and green harvesting, and grapes are picked by hand into small crates. The wine is aged in barrels for 12 to 15 months, with one-third of the barrels renewed.
