Château Latour-Martillac is a wine estate in the Pessac-Léognan vineyard area. In 1871, it attracted the attention of Edouard Kressmann, who had just founded his Bordeaux wine trading business. His eldest son, Alfred, acquired the property in 1930 and renamed it from Château Latour to Château Latour-Martillac to avoid confusion with its Médoc namesake. The family tradition continued through Jean Kressmann’s children, with his two youngest sons, Tristan and Loïc, overseeing general management.

The vineyard gradually expanded to almost 30 hectares. Its wines include reds blending Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, with the Petit Verdot grown on a gravel plot on the Martillac plateau.
