Bodega Norton traces its beginnings to 1895 when English engineer Edmund James Palmer Norton arrived in Argentina. He acquired a vineyard in Perdriel, Luján de Cuyo, with vines imported from France to establish his own winery. In 1973, Norton produced the first Malbec exported to the United States and sold outside Argentina. Austrian businessman Gernot Langes-Swarovski acquired Norton in 1989, and Chief Winemaker David Bonomi was named Winemaker of the Year by Tim Atkin in 2020.

Norton owns five vineyards in Luján de Cuyo situated in Mendoza's First Zone at the foothills of the Andes. In total, it owns 1,265 hectares in Luján de Cuyo and works with 140 Uco Valley producers covering an additional 750 hectares. Grapes grown include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Malbec, and red wines are fermented at 28°C to 30°C for 8 to 10 days and aged in oak barrels or concrete eggs.
On VinoVoss, Bodega Norton has 3 wines in stock: 2 red, 1 white. Their average rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 110 ratings.
