Catena (Bodega Catena Zapata) is an Argentine winery founded in 1902. Laura Catena serves as managing director, while Alejandro Vigil directs winemaking and Ernesto “Nesti” Bajda is the winemaker.

The winery’s work has included reviving Malbec and discovering extreme high-altitude terroirs in the Andean foothills of Mendoza. The family’s Adrianna Vineyard lies at almost 5,000 feet above sea level. Across the Catena Zapata family vineyards, parcels are divided by soil composition and farmed individually to encourage the fruit’s expression. Its wines include Catena Appellation White Clay, whose two components are Semillon and Chenin.
On VinoVoss, Catena has 7 wines in stock: 7 red. Their average rating is 3.9 out of 5 from 3,480 ratings.
