About Argyle
Argyle is a wine producer in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, founded by Rollin Soles. Soles was drawn to the region in 1979 by its pioneering spirit and the sense of community among winemakers.
Its vineyard sites in the Dundee Hills and Eola-Amity Hills include Knudsen, Lone Star, Spirit Hill and Giving Tree. Argyle farms its estate vineyards regeneratively, using biochar-enhanced compost, composted winery and vineyard materials, custom cover crops and reduced tillage to rebuild soil health. It earned LIVE certification in 2008 and also holds Salmon-Safe and Bee-Friendly Farming certifications. Its wines include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling, as well as méthode champenoise sparkling wine produced since 1987.
