Nuanced Australian take on the Italian classic, lacking the smoky/forest floor and Italian acidity that Sangiovese is known for. Still, it's a pleasant, ripe cherry-driven wine with a good balance. However, it may not be the best fit for the amazing grape of Italy. Corsica, on the other hand, can handle a good Sangiovese. If you're looking to try something outside of Italy, Nielluccio is a good option. Further exploration is warranted.
