This Pinot Noir from Charles Vineyard reveals a captivating garnet hue, with a nose that unfolds layers of wild strawberry, black cherry, and a whisper of forest floor, underscored by a delicate hint of rose petal. On the palate, the wine is elegantly structured, showcasing a seamless integration of fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity. The mid-palate offers a complex interplay of red fruit compote and subtle spice, leading to a long, mineral-driven finish. This wine exemplifies the finesse and balance characteristic of premium Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, promising both immediate pleasure and potential for graceful aging.

Joelle
Intense and full-bodied Pinot with a deep, gentle color and a rich earthy cherry fruit profile, elevated by nuanced minerality and a trace of limestone. The wine's tannic profile provides a smooth, long finish.
Sanca Sargrou
Rich, full-bodied wine with a deep, dark ruby hue, accompanied by light flavors of cinnamon and fruit on the nose. The sensation is shaped by earthy background notes and a whisper of white pepper, with a smooth, polished finish.
Tsyganova Bofanny
Wine that fails to impress with its overly cloying, sharp, and hard to drink nature, noted for by a consistency closer to a fortified wine, a deeper purple colour, and a dominant structure of sour fruit flavours. The absence of red fruit and vibrant colours detracts from its altogether appeal.

The Withers Charles Vineyard Pinot Noir is noted for its rich, full-bodied character with earthy cherry and nuanced minerality. While some appreciate its smooth, long finish and complex aromas of blackberry and nutmeg, others find the 2014 vintage overly cloying and sharp. The wine's deep color and hints of cinnamon and white pepper are frequently mentioned.
