This Pinot Noir showcases a deep ruby hue, inviting with a bouquet of ripe black cherry, forest floor, and a whisper of violet. The palate is elegantly structured, revealing layers of red currant and pomegranate, underscored by a subtle minerality and well-integrated oak. Silky tannins and vibrant acidity provide a harmonious balance, leading to a lingering finish with hints of spice and earthiness. This wine exemplifies the quintessential character of California's coastal terroir, offering both complexity and finesse. Ideal for pairing with duck confit or mushroom risotto, it is a testament to Hahn Estate's craftsmanship.

We are 50+ wine professionals (sommeliers, buyers, MW candidates) across the US, UK, France, Greece, Italy, and beyond. We review wines via blind tastings with a standardized rubric, using both 100-point and 5-star scales.

Hahn Estate Appellation Series Pinot Noir is crafted from select vineyards in California's Central Coast, where the cool maritime climate and diverse soils provide ideal conditions for Pinot Noir. The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and undergo fermentation in stainless steel to preserve fresh fruit character. A portion of the wine is aged in French oak barrels, adding subtle complexity and structure. This Pinot Noir is intended to showcase bright red fruit flavors, balanced acidity, and a smooth finish, making it suitable for immediate enjoyment or short-term cellaring.
