Fruit-forward bouquet, with a sweet and juicy weight on the nose. The first sip transports you to a whimsical world, where the effervescent charm of Madame Bobalu is palpable. A sumptuous treat, elegantly balanced by the rich, beefy flavor of the steak, which unexpectedly shares a savory whisper evocative of cheeseburgers. The oakiness and dried fruit hints linger, leaving a gratifying aftertaste. A delightful discovery!
Idyakon
Rich, supple red with a deep, dense color. The nose is powered by by blackberry and licorice, with a light note of black tea. The taste is equally impressive, with a mellow tail that lingers. A very good merit for the price.
Chadell

Volver Madame Bobalu Bobal is praised for its rich, full-bodied character with deep fruit flavors like blackberry, plum, and cherry. Many appreciate its smooth texture and balanced tannins, while some find it lacks complexity and depth. Oak, vanilla, and flinty notes add complexity, and it's often considered a good value. While some enjoy its vibrant, fruity profile, others feel it could benefit from aeration.
This Bobal from Volver presents a deep ruby hue, immediately suggesting its robust character. The nose is a complex tapestry of ripe blackberries, dark cherries, and a hint of violets, underscored by subtle notes of black pepper and earthy minerality. On the palate, it reveals a full-bodied structure with velvety tannins and a vibrant acidity that balances the wine's concentrated fruit core. The finish is long and persistent, with lingering nuances of cocoa and a touch of forest floor. This wine exemplifies the potential of Bobal, offering both power and elegance, ideal for those exploring the depth of Spanish reds.
