The fruit's unique blend of passion fruit and citrus is elevated by a soft trace of grass, creating a crisp and nuanced flavor profile.

I've been looking forward to revisiting Villa Maria's classic style, and I'm pleased to report that it still holds up well. The wine is deep and full-bodied, with a lovely symmetry of gooseberry and tropical fruit flavors. The tartness is well-managed, making it a impressive premium for warm weather. Overall, a velvety and easy-drinking white that's perfect for sipping on a summer evening.

What the web is saying

Villa Maria Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is praised for its vibrant tropical fruit flavors like passion fruit and pineapple, balanced with citrus and herbal notes. While some find it crisp and refreshing, others note a smooth, velvety texture. The wine's lively acidity and clean finish make it a standout choice for warm weather, though a few suggest it could benefit from a more defined structure.

This Villa Maria Reserve Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand is an intensely aromatic white wine. Its nose is rife with bright citrus and tropical fruit aromas, underscored by subtle herbal and mineral notes. On the palate, the wine is crisp and vibrant, with flavors of grapefruit, lime, and passionfruit that are balanced by a pleasing acidity and minerality. The finish is refreshing and lingering. Enjoy with fresh seafood and light salads.
