WINE DESCRIPTION
Located in the Colli Tortonesi region of southeastern Piemonte, this 100% Barbera is crafted from organically farmed vineyards, free of pesticides and herbicides. The vines range from 10 to 35 years old and grow at an altitude of 300 meters on limestone and clay soils. Harvested in late August, the grapes undergo a 12-20 day maceration on the skins, followed by a slow fermentation lasting one month in cement tanks. Native yeasts and minimal intervention define this wine, with light battonage keeping the cap moist. The result is a vibrant expression of Piemonte's unique terroir.
