A rich, dark fruit with a deep, velvety texture. Allow it to sit for a during before indulging.

The nose is influenced by by a rich, nuanced perfume of black currant, prunes, and cloves, with a subtle note of rye bread and a touch of violet. The tasting is equally impressive, with a full-bodied feel that's seamless by a sweet and tangy chokeberry jam, alongside a wild strawberry and strawberry note that's both juicy and intense. The ending is long and satisfying, with a soft hint of balsamic and a touch of cocoa, leaving a lingering impression of violet and rye bread.

What the web is saying

Velenosi Ludi is praised for its rich, full-bodied character with complex aromas of dark fruits, spices, and subtle notes of chocolate and forest floor. While some appreciate its smooth tannins and long finish, others find it requires patience for full integration. The wine's intense flavors and deep color make it a standout, though a few reviews note it may not meet expectations for its price.

Velenosi Ludi is an exquisite Italian wine that showcases the best of the Marche region. On the nose, Velenosi Ludi offers a captivating bouquet of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, accompanied by delicate floral notes. These aromas are further enhanced by subtle hints of spice and earthiness, adding complexity to the overall profile. The palate of Velenosi Ludi is equally impressive, with a harmonious balance between fruitiness and acidity. The red fruit flavors persist, accompanied by a touch of black pepper and a hint of balsamic. The tannins are well-integrated, providing a smooth and velvety texture that lingers on the palate. This wine is best enjoyed with hearty Italian dishes, such as pasta with rich tomato-based sauces or grilled meats. Its vibrant flavors and elegant structure make it a versatile companion for a wide range of culinary delights.
