Vaza Rioja Crianza draws its name from name Vaza or 'Baza' - the Spanish for a trump card, a new way of doing something or a bright idea. This is a modern winery in the long established region of Rioja, deep in the heart of Spain. This wine is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes and then aged for 12 months in both French and American oak barrels. The resulting wine is round, soft wine with flavors of raspberries and cherries supported by oak-derived aromas of vanilla and clove. The ripe fruit flavors create a delicious wine with a smooth well-balanced finish.
