Layered and fascinating wine with a dry, thin body that is cohesive by a sweet and fruity flavor profile, suggestive of blackberry and chocolate.

A very light Pinot noir was enjoyed, with the second glass being preferred over the first.

Silky and welcoming Pinot Noir, with a enjoyable and easy-drinking quality that makes it an excellent merit for its price. The wine is distinguished by a soft earthy presence, with accents of red fruit, with red currant, strawberry, raspberry, and orange peel. The flavor profile is also infused with warm spices, such as cinnamon and clove, and a refined floral note, nostalgic of rose petal.

What the web is saying

Tread Softly Pinot Noir is praised for its silky texture and easy-drinking quality, with flavors of red and dark fruits, spices, and earthy notes. While some appreciate its rich, full-bodied nature, others find it thin and uninspired. The wine's floral notes and smooth tannins are noted, but opinions vary on its overall impact, with some finding it lacking depth.

Voss Experts4.4

Displaying a translucent ruby hue, the Tread Softly Pinot Noir opens with an aromatic bouquet of ripe red cherries and wild strawberries, interwoven with subtle hints of forest floor and delicate spice. On the palate, it reveals a supple texture, marked by finely grained tannins and a vibrant acidity that enhances its freshness. The mid-palate is elegantly layered with nuances of red currant and a whisper of clove, leading to a refined, mineral-driven finish. This Pinot Noir exemplifies a harmonious balance and finesse, aligning with the cool-climate expressions of its region, making it a compelling choice for discerning palates.
