Callistus Bordaz
The wine is a bold and gentle texture, with a silky and even finish. The layers are somewhat one-dimensional, but the tannins and acidity provide a nice balance. The oak and vanilla whispers are well-integrated, adding depth and complexity. The tail is long and satisfying, with a light whisper of toast and a dry rubber note.
Marthijn
Very good wine with a fruity character, priced reasonably.

Displaying a deep, inky purple hue, the Trapiche Varietals Malbec unfurls with a bouquet of ripe blackberries, plums, and violets, underscored by subtle hints of mocha and spice. On the palate, it offers a robust structure with velvety tannins and a balanced acidity that enhances its fruit-forward profile. The mid-palate reveals layers of dark chocolate and a touch of vanilla, leading to a lingering finish with a whisper of forest floor. This Malbec exemplifies the quintessential Mendoza style, offering both approachability and depth, making it a commendable choice for those exploring the varietal's potential.
