WINE DESCRIPTION
Tarantas Tempranillo is a lightly oaked, approachable dry red wine from the Tarantas winery located in Valencia, Spain. Here on the Mediterranean coast, the grapes enjoy warm, sunny days which helps the Tempranillo variety achieve full ripeness each vintage. The vineyards are planted on deep clay soils that retains water during the warm growing season and helps the grapes retain freshness and acidity. After harvesting and crushing the grapes, the must is fermented at a controlled temperatures in stainless steel vats.

Tarantas Tempranillo has a vivid medium to deep ruby color suggesting a youthful wine.On the nose, this Tempranillo bursts from the glass with bold aromas of ripe black fruits, such as blackberries and plums, accompanied by subtle hints of spice, leather and earthiness.
The flavor profile of Tarantas Tempranillo is marked by a good balance between fruit concentration and acidity. The ripe fruit flavors are complemented by notes of earthiness that are present on the moderately long finish.
