This Dornfelder presents a deep, ruby hue, indicative of its youthful vibrancy. On the nose, it reveals a bouquet of ripe black cherries and plums, underscored by subtle hints of violets and a whisper of dark chocolate. The palate is medium-bodied, showcasing a harmonious balance between its juicy fruit core and a refreshing acidity that enlivens the wine. Soft, velvety tannins provide a gentle structure, leading to a smooth, fruit-forward finish with a touch of spice. This approachable wine exemplifies the modern style of Dornfelder, making it an ideal companion for casual gatherings or light fare.

We are 50+ wine professionals (sommeliers, buyers, MW candidates) across the US, UK, France, Greece, Italy, and beyond. We review wines via blind tastings with a standardized rubric, using both 100-point and 5-star scales.
