The wine's pale yellow shade is accompanied by a nose that unfurls with a fruity bouquet, featuring sharp stone fruits, passion fruit, and citrus accents echoing of grapefruit and banana. However, the tongue reveals a more subdued character, with a green and vibrant texture, a grassy undertone, and an overly zesty finish. The wine's comprehensively structure is noted for by a high level of freshness and a relatively short length, resulting in a watery and racy texture. Despite its unripe nature, the wine's simplicity makes it a straightforward and uncomplicated drinking experience.

What the web is saying

Stoneleigh Sauvignon Blanc is praised for its vibrant tropical fruit flavors, notably passion fruit, mango, and citrus, with a refreshing and zesty character. While some appreciate its clean and crisp finish, others find it overly zesty or lacking depth. The wine's bright acidity and fruity profile make it a popular choice for warm weather and seafood pairings.

Voss Experts4.3

Stoneleigh Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp and refreshing New Zealand white wine. With aromas of freshly cut grass, citrus, and tropical fruits, this medium-bodied wine has a great balance between acidity and sweetness. The palate is filled with notes of lime, grapefruit, and passionfruit, making it an excellent choice for summer sipping. The finish is crisp and clean, leaving a pleasant, lingering aftertaste. Enjoy this delightful white on its own or with grilled seafood, poultry, or salads.
