Siro Pacenti Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2013

Elegant yet refined, this wine features a consistent cohesion of wild herbs, floral notes, and dried cherry aromas and flavors, with a lively and sophisticated finish.

A rich and full-bodied Sangiovese that offers its structure and symmetry perfectly, with a elegant blend of sweet and savory notes. The acidity and tannins are well-balanced, and the finish is both definiive and lingering. A stonking wine that is sure to impress, with a price to match.

True masterpiece. This wine is a masterclass in intricacy and elegance, with a remarkable ability to evolve and mature in the bottle and glass. The initial stages are marked by understated whispers of pine wood, dried cherry, and licorice, which gradually give way to a rich tapestry of fresh walnut, vanilla, blueberry, and forest floor. The tail is long and satisfying, with a lingering weight of black currant, fried bacon, and strawberries. The tartness and tannins are flawlessly balanced, providing a sense of profile and depth. A truly superb wine that rivals the best of the world's exceptional Brunello.
