I have never had a Greek wine before. An interesting red in my books. I am eager to explore more Greek wines in the future.

Straightforward, easy-drinking wine with a fruity and slightly sweet character. The tannins are low, and the bracing quality is fair, making it a fantastic option for those looking for a relaxed drinking experience. The wine's flavor profile is nostalgic of South African pinotage, with touches of leather that add strength and complexity. but it may not be a significantly original or exciting wine, it is well-balanced and enjoyable, and its unique character makes it a impressive in its category.

Voss Experts4.5

A vibrant expression from the Peloponnese, the Seméli ΓΙΟΡΤΗ Red reveals a deep ruby hue, indicative of its concentrated character. The bouquet is a harmonious blend of ripe black cherry, plum, and subtle hints of Mediterranean herbs, underscored by a whisper of earthy minerality. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a velvety texture, showcasing well-integrated tannins and a lively acidity that enlivens the dark fruit core. The finish is enduring, with notes of black pepper and a touch of anise, positioning this wine as a quintessential example of modern Greek winemaking prowess.
