Refreshing and light wine with a fruity profile

Mendori

A seamless blend of inky fruit flavors, with a refined and amiable texture, elevated by a soft oak influence. The tannins are well-balanced, and the liveliness is present but restrained, resulting in a opulent and satisfying finish. A delightful wine that features its age.

Respectable representation of California Pinot noir, though not to my taste

What the web is saying

Scotto Family Cellars Pinot Noir is praised for its smooth, fruity profile with notes of cherry and strawberry. While some appreciate its soft oak influence and well-balanced tannins, others find it not to their taste. The wine is described as refreshing and easy-drinking, with a light ruby color and a jammy, plush feel. It pairs well with light dishes, offering a pleasant drinking experience.

Voss Experts4.4

Displaying a translucent ruby hue, this Pinot Noir opens with an elegant bouquet of ripe red cherries, wild strawberries, and a hint of forest floor, underscored by subtle notes of clove and cedar. The palate is medium-bodied, showcasing a harmonious balance between vibrant acidity and silky tannins, which frame flavors of raspberry coulis and a whisper of earthy minerality. The finish is long and refined, with a delicate spiciness that lingers gracefully. This wine exemplifies the finesse and complexity typical of California Pinot Noir, making it a compelling choice for both immediate enjoyment and short-term cellaring.
