The Scopetone Sangiovese di Toscana unfolds with an inviting aroma of sour cherry and tart plums coupled with subtle forest floor notes, and hints of herbs and earth. Upon taking a sip, the palate is greeted by brisk acidity and firm tannins, providing structure and backbone to the wine. Flavors of red fruit, specifically cranberry and cherry, emerge with a hint of spice and a subtle herbaceous quality reminiscent of wild rosemary and sage. The finish is clean and refreshing, with a lingering note of dusty mineral that leaves the palate refreshed and ready for another sip.

Ravishing Tuscan gem. Seductive. Initially unassuming, yet gradually reveals a ravishingly complex, bold fruit-infused, structured, and gripping entity with surprising depth and balance. A truly delightful experience.
Nyx
Soft and subtle wine with a subtle, elegant character. Its balanced perfume is featured by the sweetness of ripe red fruit and the light nuances of red flower and violet, accompanied by a warm, spicy undertone. The sensation is light and refreshing, with a smooth integration of fruit and spice. The ending is long and satisfying, making it a pleasure to drink. A well-crafted wine with a timeless appeal. 4.1/5.0.
Gorgan
Even acidity and firm tannins characterize this wine, with a whisper of bitterness that extends but does not overpower the palate. Overall, it is a decent effort, but not primarily impressive or memorable.

This Tuscan Sangiovese is celebrated for its ripe red fruit flavors, cherry notes, and balanced structure, with a zesty freshness appealing to many. While some praise its smooth tannins and complexity, others note firm tannins or subtle bitterness. Opinions vary on maturity, with suggestions it may improve with age. One critic found it underwhelming for the price, contrasting overall positive reception.
