WINE DESCRIPTION
Schloss Gobelsburg Grüner Veltliner Steinsetz is produced by one of the oldest wineries in the Austrian Danube area with a documented history that dates back to 1171. This is a Riedenwein, or classified single vineyard wine, coming from the Steinsetz vineyard. This age-worthy expression of Grüner Veltliner is fermented and matured in large local Austrian oak casks for around 10 months prior to its release.

The Schloss Gobelsburg Grüner Veltliner Steinsetz has a pale lemon color with green reflections.On the nose, you can expect well-defined aromas of ripe citrus fruits, such as lemon and grapefruit, along with hints of white pepper and fresh herbs. These aromas are beautifully complemented by subtle floral notes of acacia and blossom. The palate bursts with lively acidity and rich citrus fruit accompanied by flavors of green apple, pear and an underlying mineral character that carries on the persistent finish.
