Sassoregale Sella Antica Rosso Sella is a red blend born to roam with the butteri - a kinship of fearless horsemen and women that have preserved their homeland for over 2,000 years. Their badge of honor is their horses' breast-collar medallion, handmade from the same leather as their saddle. It is from this saddle that Sella Antica (Ancient Saddle) gets its name. A predominance of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, this smooth, full-bodied wine offers voluptuous scents of ripe blueberries and blackberries, cooked plums, and spicy notes of black pepper. It continues with hints of vanilla, cocoa, and dried herbs. On the palate, it is dynamic.
