Rust En Vrede Estate Vineyards Syrah is praised for its rich, full-bodied character, featuring intense fruit flavors like blackberry and plum, with notes of spice, pepper, and oak. While some appreciate its smooth, velvety texture and aging potential, others find it less impressive due to occasional storage issues. Overall, it offers a luxurious and satisfying experience, particularly when paired with rich meats.
This Rust En Vrede Estate Vineyards Syrah has a deep ruby color and a nose of ripe blackberry, fig and dark chocolate. The palate is full-bodied and intense, with flavors of spice, pepper, licorice and earth. The tannins are well integrated, leading to a long and complex finish. Enjoy this wine alongside grilled meats or aged cheeses.
