WINE DESCRIPTION
Rita & Rudolf Trossen Schieferblume Riesling trocken is a dry white wine produced in the Mosel region known for producing taut, featherlight but highly expressive Rieslings. Rita and Rudolf Trossen have converted their entire estate to both organic and biodynamic viticulture. The grapes are hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures for an extended period. After fermenting the wine to dryness, it is aged for about 11 months and bottled without fining, filtration or sulfur additions.
