Salschi
The petite sirah reveals a mild nose, gradually unfolding into a lean mineral water note. Upon opening, the wine displays a crisp, dry character. A notable cherry flavor emerges when paired with white cheddar cheese, with further refinement upon decantation. The wine's aging potential is evident, with a promising return.
Jaguar
Rich, velvety mouthfeel clings the palate, followed by a deep, bold cherry flavor that lasts pleasantly. A elegant touch of slate adds density and structure to the wine, but eucalyptus and pepper undertones emerge in the midrange, leaving a warm, spicy finish.
KT Tomassian
Year of challenges for Lytton Spring, but a remarkable wine nonetheless, with a opulent and juicy tactile quality

Ridge Vineyards Lytton Estate Petite Sirah is praised for its rich, full-bodied character, featuring bold fruit flavors like cherry, blackberry, and plum, with notes of oak, pepper, and eucalyptus. While some find it complex and well-balanced, others feel it's overpriced or lacks depth. The wine's aging potential and smooth tannins are consistently highlighted, making it a sophisticated choice for red wine enthusiasts.
