This René Bouvier Vieilles Vignes Marsannay Clos du Roy is a bold, full-bodied Burgundy. The nose is dominated by aromas of cherries and raspberries, along with hints of black pepper and leather. On the palate, the intense fruit flavors are complemented by a lively acidity and well-integrated tannins. The finish is long and persistent with notes of earth, clove, and toasted oak. A wonderful expression of terroir, this wine is sure to please.
