A nuanced and rich orange wine with a dense, intense aroma. The impression was full-bodied and dry, with a clear distinction between the two. The brightness was sharp and well-balanced, making it a compelling option for those exploring a full-bodied orange wine.

Rich, full-bodied wine with whispers of orange, apricot, and dried apricot, its profiles are augmented by the understated structure of orange peel.

What the web is saying

Radikon's Ribolla Gialla receives praise for complex citrus, apricot, and mineral notes with smooth tannins, though opinions vary on texture and aging. While many appreciate its elegant skin-contact depth and fruit-forward character, some criticize younger vintages for harsh tannins, oxidation, or diluted acidity. Older bottles show nuanced maturity with dried fruit and honeyed tones, but volatile acidity remains a polarizing element.

Voss Experts4.5

Radikon Ribolla Gialla is an intense and complex white wine from the Collio region of northeastern Italy. Its bouquet is characterized by ripe yellow fruit, floral notes, and a hint of toasted almond. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and concentrated, with a crisp acidity and a lasting finish. Its flavors of ripe apple, pear, honey, and mineral are balanced by a subtle hint of oak. Overall, this is a complex and enjoyable wine that will reward careful cellaring.
