This Primitivo Quiles Cono 4 Tinto is a full-bodied red from the Spanish region of Murcia. With aromas of ripe dark fruit and hints of spice, it offers a pleasant and intense nose. On the palate, it is round and smooth with well-integrated tannins and a long, lingering finish. This wine would pair well with a variety of dishes, including barbecued meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses.

Well-balanced and evolved wine with a seamless crispness and steady tannins, offering a voluptuous and fruity profile with elegant undertones of deep fruit, vanilla, and spice, offering pepper, plum, and raspberry, making it a solid standout for comparison against other regional varieties in northern Spain like Mencia.

I was pleasantly surprised by this wine, which was recommended by my wine merchant and presented itself as a Primitivo. However, it turns out to be a 100% Monastrell or Mourvèdre blend, not Primitivo Quiles as some users claimed. The color is a deep, lush brown, and the legs are impressive. The nose is earthy, with hints of mushroom and tobacco, but the body and conclusion are disappointingly lacking.
Adept
Dry wine with a higher level of acidity, featuring Boysenberry and black cherry notes. meanwhile it may not be a outstanding for me, it's a decent addition to the weekend's relaxation routine #2 of the week.

Primitivo Quiles Cono 4 Tinto is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with notes of deep fruit, spice, and a smooth texture. While some appreciate its luscious and earthy flavors, others find it lacking in body and complexity. The wine offers a mix of minerality, cherry, and forest floor, with a balanced tannin structure. Opinions vary on its acidity and finish, with some finding it crisp and others less impressive.
