This Pierre Girardin Volnay has aromas of sweet cherry, baking spice and a hint of earthiness. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with layers of ripe red fruits, balanced tannins and a lingering, spicy finish. Enjoy this delightful Burgundy with grilled salmon or a mushroom risotto.

Nuanced and sophisticated nose with rose petal, red cherry, and earthy undertones, tempered by a subtle dryness. The mouthfeel is slightly muted, but the alcohol mid-palate provides a welcome counterbalance. The wine shows promise, but requires patience to fully unfold.
