WINE DESCRIPTION
The 25-hectare winery in Côte Blanc has been family-owned since 1750. Located in Cuis, next to Avize, the vineyard sits on pure limestone, considered the best Chardonnay terroir in the region. Uniquely, the winery uses only its own vineyards, and Mr. Gimonnet personally tends the vines. This small family-run estate produces exclusively grower Champagne. They craft only Chardonnay into fine, racy, and elegant Champagnes that are a staple in French haute cuisine. Few Champagnes exhibit such finesse and elegance as these Blanc de Blancs. Gimonnet is deservedly ranked among top Chardonnay producers like Peters and Selosse.
