WINE DESCRIPTION
Pfeffingen Dry Riesling is a regional-level quality wine from the Pfeffingen winery situated near Bad Dürkheim in the Pfalz region. The estate is owned and operated by the Eymael family, who farm all their vineyards using sustainable methods. The vineyards are planted on limestone soils in the Mittelhaardt area. Grapes are pressed to separate the juice from the skins, before the wine is fermented to dryness in inert vessels to retain the vibrancy and aromatic character of Riesling.

Pfeffingen Dry Riesling has a pale straw color in the glass with slight green reflections, indicative of a youthful wine.On the nose, it displays vibrant aromas of citrus fruits, such as lemon and lime, along with hints of green apple and white flowers. The palate is chiselled and a little lean driven by steely acidity that brings mouthwatering freshness and a balance to the fruit flavors. Citrus fruits continue to dominate, with additional notes of stone fruits, such as peach. The finish is moderate in length, but pleasant and satisfyingly dry.
