This Pinot Noir presents a translucent garnet hue, indicative of its varietal purity and elegance. The bouquet unfurls with a symphony of red currant, wild strawberry, and a whisper of forest floor, underscored by a delicate floral lift of violets. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a silken texture, revealing layers of ripe cherry and cranberry, seamlessly integrated with a subtle minerality and a hint of clove spice. The wine's vibrant acidity and fine-grained tannins provide a harmonious structure, culminating in a lingering finish that echoes the complexity of its terroir. A quintessential expression of its region, this Pinot Noir is both refined and expressive, offering immediate gratification while promising graceful evolution.

We are 50+ wine professionals (sommeliers, buyers, MW candidates) across the US, UK, France, Greece, Italy, and beyond. We review wines via blind tastings with a standardized rubric, using both 100-point and 5-star scales.

Crafted from vines that remain ungrafted, this Pinot Noir is a testament to the resilience and purity of its varietal character. Grown in a cool-climate region, the vineyard benefits from maritime influences that preserve the grape's natural acidity and enhance its aromatic profile. The wine undergoes fermentation in open-top vessels to encourage gentle extraction of color and flavor, followed by aging in neutral oak barrels to maintain its delicate fruit expression. This Pinot Noir offers a balanced drinking experience, showcasing red berry notes with a subtle earthiness, ideal for those who appreciate a classic, nuanced style.
