Substantial wine with a high alcohol content could be overpowering as a white. I found it too intense to continue sampling immediately after opening. The nose was defined by by citrus and lemon, with a golden yellow hue. The pear flavor was initially prominent, but after 30 minutes, it developed into a decadent and nuanced taste profile, echoing of butter, honey, and vanilla. A balanced pairing with grilled beef was unexpected, but it worked well. A lighter accompaniment was sufficient to appreciate its full potential.
